A Turning Point In People's Lives

Summerland House Farm is a business enterprise of House With No Steps and a major tourist attraction and working macadamia and avocado farm. The site is dedicated to growing our business to create training and employment opportunities for people with a disability.

Our organisation offers a 'turning point' in people's lives, as they go through to achieve their independance, meet their goals and find success by making the most of their abilities.

Coincidently, the site of Summerland House Farm was also a 'turning point' in the historic Kingsford Smith flight on the 9th June 1928. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith crossed land at Ballina and turned north over this property at Summerland House Farm to head towards Brisbane.
